Raised by their well-known mechanic father, Mehmet and Halil spent their childhoods in the Bodrum shipyards and by the sea. In 1974, at the ages of 12 and 14, the brothers built their first dinghy boat for fun. At one point a man offered them money to take him to Black Island for a trip. This is where it all began. The brothers went on to build bigger boats offering Blue Voyage adventures with fantastic hospitality and top class crews aboard some of Bodrum’s finest Gulets .
